I’m so sorry. Whereabouts do you live? I’m sure someone here would know of somewhere, but you didn’t give us a location.
Sorry to hear your not well and for your kitties i would ask around to your local vets or call the shelter and just ask if they know of foster homes for pets around your town area .
most put in cages,if we cat protection get odd one we do bring in house but not all 8.your best thing would be ask vets or people you know if could take on,ask neighbours they might take odd one on if they like.i would take my neighbour cat on if she could not have as my cats get on fine with him.sorry about cancer, you could ask shelters and say you will keep till they find homes for them.this what cat protection league do,then we vet out new homes first
your house…
Don’t worry about them being in a cage at a shelter. A lot of shelters have play areas for the cats so they’ll let them out each day to scamper about. And hopefully your kitties wouldn’t be there long anyway. Yes – please let us know where you are and we can point you towards a no-kill cat shelter. And I’m really sorry that you’re sick
The dogs is better pets than cats, that’s why you better kill your cat!
im so sorry that you are sick.most of the shelters do put there cats in cages due to the infections that are around but isnt there any of your friends or family that could help you with taking some of the cats.you could even put flyers in your milk bar or other shops that will let you advertise your plea. good luck.
It’s hard to say considering you haven’t said where you live.
Have you considered leaving a bequest to a shelter & having them take care of your cats for the rest of their lives. I’m in Australia & many shelters offer that service. I don’t know how much it costs, but it’s worth looking into I think – especially if you have any older cats that might be harder to rehome.
Good Luck.
check on the net to see if there are any cat rescue programmes in your area. Also, you can call a vet and ask their opinions about re-homing your cats. They might be able to help or be able to direct you to organisations who may help with just such a situation. Certainly, there are a lot of pet lovers and there will be options for you. You should start early though to make sure you have as much control as you want. If you had to go to hospital suddenly it would make things that much harder for you. I wish you all the very best in this!
