I'm confused! Her parents haven't told her what's wrong? She doesn't know herself? If she's taking Chemo she will know because it makes you so incredibly sick! Your friend has the right to ask questions about her medical diagnosis & treatments. Encourage her to speak up & ask the doctor herself what is going on. As far as if younger people can fight breast cancer better than older people, I would still think so. God Bless you both. You are a good friend. Chemo is usually given through an IV not shots.
