Breast Cancer Screening Bus – Hungary (Eng. subtitles)

ENGLISH TRANSLATION BELOW. Janssen-Cilag, Hungary, is sponsoring an initiative of the Hungarian Cancer Society. The program involves bringing breast cancer screenings by bus, to a rural population in the southern Great Plain. Early detection of breast cancer can significantly reduce the mortality rate. ENGLISH TRANSLATION: As a result of early detection breast cancer can be cured. The most important tool of detection is the mammogram the equipment examining the breasts with X ray. The regular, every other year, exam of the breasts makes early diagnosis and recovery possible, as cancer develops in the breast in the period of 5 to 6 years and thus participating in regularly organized screenings gives a chance of recovery. I would encourage all women to take part in breast cancer screenings. Lets go already when not having any symptoms once the letter arrives inviting us to the screening. If the abnormality is detected in the early phase, then the cancer can be cured. If 70 percent of the effected women attended the screening, then the rate of mortality could be significantly decreased. Lets participate in the organized screenings!… and now the possibility of screening is also available in the counties of the southern Great Plain (Dél-Alföld), as the screening bus goes to the different settlements, becoming very very easily accessible and the screening itself can be carried out.
