Maria D asked:
Last year I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and during that following may I took Chemotherapy and Radiation. Its been a stressful year but I managed to get through. Right now I’m getting better, my hair grew back and everything. But I was wondering if anybody knows any good natural medicine or good things I can try out to feel better, get more white blood cells to help fight against other horrible things, or overall anything that you think a person who’s been and is fighting cancer can take. It would be a great help. Thanks.

They gave my grandpa medication for his white blood cells when he had cancer, so if they are dangerously low they should be perscribing them to you. That’s pretty much the only way.
My advice is do not go in for any other treatment, when you are on the road of recovery after all treatments. This is a very good thing that has happened and thank God for the same.
Though there are some other treatments like, Ayurvedic, Herbal, homeopathy etc., it is better to leave it as it is as you have responded well for Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy.
Now you have to do the following things only -
1. Have good nutritious food for complete recapitulating. Take enough of Iron, Protein, Minerals rich diet. Your doctor will be suggesting them.
2. Have regular and periodical check up by your Oncologist for evaluating the position by necessary tests.
3. Try to forget you had this dreadful disease and be happy. Thank God.
Wish you all the best.
There really isn’t anything that can get you more white blood cell. Being you have finished treatment it could be your immune system that is recovering.
Also unless you have a infection or sick it could be you low red blood cells not low white blood cells
They do give some ppl an injection to keep the white blood cells up so they can give chemo but it is very expensive and it is for ones on chemo.
Low count red blood cell take time to rebuild. Do light exercises it helps with oxygen which helps red blood cells.
Eat a good, healthy diet and get plenty of rest.
Give your body a chance to recover.
If you are on prescribed medications (eg Tamoxifen) don’t take supplements without checking with your Dr or pharmacist first!
Tamoxifen can increase tiredness and agravate a range of menopausal symptoms, many well-meaning people will tell you to try soy products etc with phyto-estrogens to combat this. These products counter the good the Tamoxifen does.

Well I guess you need some antioxidants for sure specially after your chemo!!!! I would suggest Grape seed extract 100mg one daily!!!!!!!! For a month at least!!!!!
