How to survive breast cancer?

My aunt acted like my mother for 10 years since I was a baby. When I already grew up I help her by running errands. She thanked me for it. But she got breast cancer and my family don’t want her to “go” away. I want to make her live longer to thank her for everything that she did. She is now 60 years old and she stood out as a nanny to every young relatives of us. I kept on praying but I need to double my work to ensure her safety.

As a cancer survivor myself, 4 years in remission. I’ve learned positive attitutde is the best. Also, I’ve had it twice. The first time, I did all of the chemo/radiation, etc…sick as a dog constantly. The second and final time, I did all natural herbs. My cancer that I had, I had a 10% survival rate. To this day, I swear it was the natural herbs that helped me. My dr’s were amazed at how quick my cancer disappeared…I was taking the juice NONI and some herbal tea that fights cancer, I got it from Whole foods, along with with alot of vitamins. My prayers are with you, but, the best thing I found was to be upbeat, laugh and be positive and I kept telling myself, I will beat this…..:)
Having cancer doesn’t mean she’s necessarily going to die. It can be cured if it’s caught and treated early enough. Your aunt MUST see a doctor as soon as possible and if she has a lump they will operate and remove it and then give her treatment afterwards to make sure it doesn’t come back again. You and your family can only support her and that means not weeping and crying and looking at her as if she’s going to die any minute. Doing that will only frighten her and she’s probably frightened enough already. You must help her get treatment, support her during and after she’s had the treatment and all the time act and believe that she will get better. Her state of mind will have a lot to do with her getting better and you must all expect that she is going to live a long life. Be positive, not negative. Praying also helps – but remember that God helps those who help themselves so you can’t just expect him to do everything. She must get medical treatment.
In recent years, there’s been an explosion of life-saving treatment advances against breast cancer, bringing new hope and excitement. Instead of only one or two options, today there’s an overwhelming menu of treatment choices that fight the complex mix of cells in each individual cancer. The decisions—surgery, then perhaps radiation, hormonal (anti-estrogen) therapy, and/or chemotherapy—can feel overwhelming.
Much depends on your aunt’s general health condition and stage and grade of Cancer. Without worrying much, please start the treatments immediately as CANCER IS STILL AN ENIGMA and it requires immediate attention and treatment.
