However, I had a fibroadenoma in my right breast. I had two needle biopsies which indicated cancer. Had surgery to remove the tumor and basically, it was “pre-cancerous.”
If it truly is a fibroid, you should be fine; HOWEVER, don’t take chances! Make sure you get it all checked out with a breast specialist. Have the biopsies they want you to have.
Even if it’s not cancerous now, it could become that way. Prevention is the surest cure!
Fibroadenoma is a lump in the breast. It is painless, can be moved around and normally occurs in adolescent girls. It could be related to hormonal imbalances, PCOS or irregular periods. I suggest you take the opinion of a surgeon at the earliest.
