Is it signs of breast cancer?

June 25th, 2009 | by The Doc |
Vicki B asked:

I have a lump under my right arm but also somewhat on my breast. It has been there now for about a month and hasn’t went down. At 1st I thought that it was just my gland swollen due to pms, but it wont go away. It is starting to hurt and be uncomfortable when I put my arm down. I also have something white leaking from my breasts. I am not pregnant. I had my tubes tied last year, and have had my period. Are these signs of breast cancer?

Time to go and get a mammogram. It’s the best thing you can do. Do it and take care of yourself.

I don’t know but with there being so much breast cancer around, I would get to your doctor right away. I know when I get a mammogram, they ask about discharge, and when they teach you to examine your breast, they tell you to feel for lumps under your arm. So don’t jump to conclusions but GET IT CHECKED!

Around 2 weeks ago i had the same symptoms and i went to the Dr , my Lymph nodes are swollen and i also had a discharge after an ultrasound she told me i have breast infection , she prescribe Antibiotics for 5 days and Antiflammatory medication i went for a second check up to follow up and the infection is Gone but the Glands are still swollen according to my Ob its will take time for my glands go back to normal size , I would suggest to go to the Dr it maybe be an infection for you too..
    Good Luck!!!

It could be a sign of Breast Ca. It also could be a sign of a pituitary problem. GO TO THE DOCTOR. Do not give it any more of a head start. Things can be treated if found early. EARLY is the key!!! Call tomorrow a.m. and tell them you have a lump and you insist on being seen the same day.

first of all cancer never hurts when you touch it. just lumps sounds alot like a infected gland with the seapage. go to the dr and get a test or two to decided what the problem is, if it IS cancer better know now than later.. good luck

Maybe a cyst or a gland stopped up…
cancer doesnt hurt, but I would let the Doc take a look at it.
