Question by Meeeeee!: Is it true that if you wear a bra while your sleeping it will cause breast cancer?
I usually wear cotton comfy bras. They don’t have the metal thing at the bottom of the bra. So is it true that it will cause breast cancer? I’m 14 and i would like to know. Thanks

no, that is not true. At your age a good idea if your mom is ok with it, is to make an appointment with a gyno, and have a talk with her. She can give you FACTS about what your body is going through, and can put to rest teh myths that teenage girls pass on to each other. Sometimes its easier to get the facts from a doctor instead of your mom, and I know that Planned Parenthood is a good place to go. Its not only a place to talk about sex. The doctors there will talk to you about your body too. good luck!

I sleep with a very comfortable cotton sports bra on (that’s not tight at all!) all the time. I can’t stand the feeling of “letting the girls loose”. I’ve been doing this since I was 10, i’m 17 now, and I have no cancer. You’ll be perfectly fine =)
Oh my gosh, I have never even heard this one. You have nothing to worry about, I also sleep with a cotton bra on night too. Believe me if sleeping with any kind of bra caused cancer, probably alot more woman would breast cancer right now. If you are still worried, then maybe you should just try sleeping without one on. Is there a reason you sleep with one on? I know with me I have to because I just feel naked without one on. Hope this helps :]

i honestly dont think so…ive never heard of that before…im 23 and almost every night would wear a bra 2bed…but a few women have told me not 2wear a bra 2 bed but dont tink its cause u can get cancer..just some women prefer 2 feel free in bed…but i agree wit kimber129 if u are worried and want facts u should talk to ur doc..
