I came across this video about breast cancer treatment the other day and thought that you might find it interesting.
Raymond Johnson, of Cross, was diagnosed with breast cancer but was denied Medicaid coverage because he is a man.

is this not sexist and could he not sue for the cost ?
Anyone has his contact? I know two documentaries that can really help this guy out. Pumping people full of toxins and hoping that they’ll survive and can cut away the last bit of cancer is NOT curing. No matter what anyone else says.
I don’t know about the USA, but in Holland discrimination by gender or race is forbidden. I would also publish the name of the ensurance company. Maybe some bad publicity will make them think twice! I hope you have the strenght to hang in there… Good luck!
he could get a total mastectomy for the same price as a round of chemo. since he’s paying out of pocket anyway and won’t have the same body image ramifications that women do cause he’s a guy, it’s a lot easier for him to get surgery. and it practically makes it impossible for cancer to come back since all tissue is removed.
This policy is incredibly discriminatory. Males get Breast Cancer too, about 2140 each year. 450 are likely to die.
One life is worth so much.

i once read that approx. 1 out of 24 cases of breast cancer happen in men. if i know that why doesn’t medicaid?
This is why Universal Healthcare should be a must. Everyone should be able to life a healthy life in this day and age.

The American system just got stupider . The so non discrimination hype and all that crap and now look at Raymond. He’s been discriminated. When comes to health the gender, age, social status AND race SHOULD NOT COUNT! We’re all humans, what the fuck? What’s the next stupid thing on your list, America? You’ll not help people with blond hair and blue eyes because they look too nazi? Stupid, just plain stupid.
