1. Go back to work.
2. Get fired.
If I may ask, why aren’t you working? I’m not saying you should, but it would help us understand and perhaps offer a better answer.
go to work , throw up in front of the boss, get dr note patient under medical treatment, light duty, frequent breaks, apply for Disability, Dr. note is important. call unemployment ask them, sue your boss endangering , discrimination cancer pt
If you are in the US and have worked for your employer for at least a year, you should be protected under FMLA. You need to provide more backstory to get a better answer though. Has your doctor not cleared you to work?
I worked the entire time of my chemotherapy and radiation. I left work got my chemo and radiation at the end of the day.
I work the front desk of the emergency room, so was exposed to all kind of diseased/sick people.
I had to have my insurance, so had to work. There was no alternative. After my mastectomy I stayed off work 1 week. The next mastectomy I was back in five days. After the hysterectomy was two weeks.
Eat right and drink lots of liquid, take vitamins.
Get back to work now, and get back in the swing of things as they were before.
Go to work…
I worked right through my breast cancer treatment, as did my sister.
Admittedly I was only working 4hrs a day at the time, but scheduled my treatments for either before or after work each day. Chemo and Radiation. I only had the 2 weeks off following surgery until the wound healed.
My sister is a teacher and she scheduled her chemo for Friday afternoons, so she only needed to take the afternoon off and was back teaching again by Monday. She did not need radiation.
There should be no reason for you not to work at least part time, which would make your sick leave last longer.
