A cyst may or may not be a benign tumor. You should see a doctor.
Most cases of breast cancer are painless. Cancer is a malignant growth of cells with a potential to spread, a cyst is more an isolated occurrence that does not spread. It is possible for a cyst to become malignant though so it typically best to seek treatment. With a history of implants it is important to seek medical care for unexplained symptoms, because the implants can mask typical physical signs of breast cancer. It may also be that the swelling and water retention associated with the menstrual cycle has become amplified due to the implants which could be treated with pain relievers or salt restrictions.
