I decided to sign up for the Susan G. Komen 3 day Walk and realized that I had to raise 00 just to walk. I saw how many people struggled to raise their money. I thought here you have all these wonderful people who are willing to walk 60 miles and they are getting so down and depressed because they cant raise the funds to participate in the walk. I came up with the idea of simply buying items and reselling them, people could raise money and not feel guilty about asking people for donations. If I can help just 10 people in 14 cities raise their 00, that would be over 0000 for breast cancer research. We have since expanded our company to include other causes. We hope to continually add causes and merchandise to help you raise money for the different causes that have touched your heart. I hope this video inspires you to try my fundraising technique and ultimately raise lots of money for your cause! Together we can make a difference!

A question from m3_sofakinggood: How can I raise awareness that breast cancer only focuses on women and not men or children?
-I think we need to bring back equality

- breast cancer is the 5th leading cause of death in women

-skin, brain, etc affects men, women, and children equally

-less then 1% of men get breast cancer

-women can now get breast augmentations paid by insurance companies due to breast cancer.

Dude, if you want to have a cause, consider this. If a woman gets pregnant, she can decide to terminate the pregnancy without permission from the father. But if a man decides that he does not want to be a father, not only can he not force her to have an abortion, but he can be forced to be held financially responsible for a child he does not want. Talk about inequality!

October is “Breast Cancer Awareness month” so I wanted to create a video tribute to the National Football League and it’s cheerleaders, players, coaches and officials since the league is doing such a nice job of being involved. The stadiums are nicely marked… with their fields, goal posts and “BC awareness” signage. The PINK cheerleader outfits ie: pink “pom poms”, wrist bands, boots, shoes, socks and the players, coaches & officials uniforms… ie:pink gloves, shoes, towels, helmets, hats & shirts with the Breast Cancer pink ribbon logo. *DISEASE INFORMATION* on Breast Cancer… Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States, aside from skin cancer. I’m all for cancer awareness but why is breast cancer the only publicized cancer awareness month? Many people suffer from all types of cancer daily and I’ve had family suffer from both Leukemia and Pancreatic Cancer. It’s seems that if a celebrity is diagnosed with a cancer or has died from a cancer that’s the only way awareness will be publicized. Now that Patrick Swayze has passed I’m sure Pancreatic cancer will be well known coming this November (Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month) Does anyone agree?

One theory is that breast cancer has more survivors than most other cancers, so more people to form support groups and to be be activist for the disease. Not a whole lot of lung cancer survivors. I feel a little left out of the awareness hoopla.
