A question from Brittany: How do I check my breasts for lumps and earlier forms of breast cancer?
I’m only seventeen but breast cancer runs in the family so I really want to start checking early.
How often should I check?

Hello,
im 15 years old soon to be 16 and yesterday i found a lump in my breast. I am so scared to tell my parents and don’t really know what to do about it. Please help me.
I am on the pill which also increases my chances. This is why my doctor told me to check for lumps atleast 3 times a week.

Monster asked: You can get breast cancer at any age. Correct? But are you less likely to get breast cancer if you are under 20 years of age? What are the odds?
Can you feel a breast cancer lump above the skin or do you have to push down on your breast to feel it?
If you are under 20 years of age, is it necessary to check for lumps every month?
Please answer the questions in simple but understandable terms. That is why I am asking.

Pinay asked:
Is it possible for a 14 yr. old to get it?
I have a lump on each of my breasts but they have been there ever since I started puberty, so I thought it was normal and the lumps don’t hurt.
I’m also over-weight..
Is it possible for me to get breast cancer, and are da lumps a sign of it?
