A good friend of mine has breast cancer and is receiving chemo therapy and soon radiation. She is 54. She is having problems finding foods to eat, and I would like to try and help. She can’t eat soy, eggs have caused problems, and cottage cheese made her sick. All your suggestions would be of great help, especially if you have gone through this yourself or with someone close to you.

My mother had breast cancer two years ago. She had chemo, radiation and everything’s fine now. She says she has only five or six more years to live. Is that true? The only disease she has is diabetes.
I forgot to add: she was 54 when she had cancer. She’s 56 now.

My very good friend is 16 weeks pregnant and just found out she has breast cancer. Unfortunatley, she is in the late stages and needs immediate treatment. They won’t put her under general anesthesia because of risks to the baby. They say that chemo and radiation at the same time is the best way to treat it. What effects will these treatments have on her unborn baby? One doctors even suggested she consider terminating her pregnancy so that she could have a better chance to beat this. What should she do?

Okay, I just don’t know what to get her. Should I get her something that is Pink to go along with the breast cancer theme, or something else that doesn’t have anything to do with that, I just don’t know????? HELP!

She found out in late August and is enduring 16 weeks of Chemo then 4 weeks of radiation with a treatment everyday for the radiation, then possibly a hormone treatment after all that! I love her more everyday. She has had an incredibly optimistic personality, even after a full removal of her right breast. Please, if you have any ideas they would all be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

My aunt was just diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. I’d like to make a CD of inspirational and upbeat songs to give her hope and motivation as she goes thru chemo, surgery and radiation over the course of the next few months. Any great suggestions would be appreciated.
